Abstract
The 19th century is the beginning of innovation and modernization in the Orient. The subcontinent is one of the lands where the British had a direct presence. The military movements and political provocations of the British have caused some aspects of the lives of the people of the subcontinent to be affected, but the presence of national and regional personalities such as Ranjit Singh has caused the culture and history of the region to be preserved. Manuscript of the History of Punjab" is one of the books that is of interest both historically and culturally for the studies of the territory of Punjab in this century, because this version is rich in the culture and civilization of Punjab, apart from the history of territorial developments, accepting that Culture itself includes beliefs, ethics, laws, customs, language, and human capabilities. In this version, the national culture of Punjab is properly depicted in the form of historical reports, especially the land of Punjab, which is influenced by historical, geographical elements. It was religious and had a special color and flavor of Punjab and expressed identity It is Punjabi Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who was the brave king, not only established security in the Punjab region, but also defended the culture of Punjab. Examining the manuscript shows that the Maharaja not only established Punjabi civilization in various sections of the society, especially when local festivals and religious customs were established. Various things are observed, including local and religious celebrations, donations and gifts, etc. In addition, the writer has correctly included the Punjabi words in the Persian text of the manuscript. The writer's emphasis on Punjabi words and concepts indicates the people's interest in local and national culture, which they always observed in their lives, and the author of the manuscript also has been required to express them, although editing it in Farsi Today, it will be difficult for non-Punjabi readers. However, the 19th century history of the Punjab and its culture are important to study.
